The Classical Academies Education Endowment

Fiscal Responsibility

Charter schools statewide offer a variety of educational models, approaches, and programs that are as unique and interesting as the communities they serve. The area that they all share in common is their financial attributes and fiscal accountability to the taxpayers of the Golden State. When that financial health is not strong, schools are closed, students are displaced, and the public’s confidence in local educational options is compromised.

The Classical Academies’ excellent fiscal practices continue to receive top marks from independent auditors, showcasing the organization’s financial transparency, accountability, and compliance with stringent federal, state, and local standards. Public education requires the exercising of ingenuity in pursuing new solutions to find innovative ways to use limited resources to best serve communities. As we face statewide financial challenges and a rapidly changing landscape, ensuring quality services and effective stewardship for public dollars is a crucial priority for the organization. The organization is grateful for the team of finance professionals who work daily to maintain a fiscal reputation that embraces quality and integrity.
